Hawaii Youth Robotics 2008
June 9-20, June 23-July 3 - Connections Public Charter School

Hawaii Youth Robotics will return to the Connections Public Charter School in the old Kress Building at 174 Kamehameha Ave this summer. The program for youngsters ages 9-13 features two separate, two-week, half-day workshops using the Lego Mindstorms NXT robotics platform. Kids will learn to build stable robotics objects and program them using graphic development software on a computer. Check out our camps in 2007 and 2006.

Hawaii Youth Robotics also provides teacher (and parent) training in robotics concurrently with the student workshops. Robotics resources and teaching materials are provided to participants who complete the training and assist in building capacity at the school and community level to provide robotics programs.
