Unclassified NWA Meteorites from Morocco
The 82g stone was originally purchased in a lot of possible type 3 meteorites that were cherry picked out of dozens of sorted individuals. As Forest Gump says, "Life (like unclassified meteorites purchased out of NWA) are like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get". Without cutting them open and sending a sample for analysis and classification, you can only speculate on what you may have. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. In this case, although not a type 3, I definitely did alright. This specimen appears to be a possible LL4, and what a beauty it is! Gorgeous multicolor chondrules (some armored) of light and dark, set in a gray matrix, with many iron grains and troilite (FeS) inclusions. A feast for the eyes to enjoy! Because this was a singleton stone that was recovered by itself of only 82g, I am not having it formally classified.
38.35g Endcut - $100 shipped in labeled display box, w/ COA
39.24g Endcut - $100 shipped in a labeled display box, w/ COA

This specimen is, in the words of my cutter Matt Morgan, "stunning", and holds its own regardless of class.  A single 208g crusted stone was found in the hot deserts of North West Africa by nomads and purchased from a dealer in Morocco in October 2009. Although moderately weak in magnetic attraction (a possible L3), there are a lot of free metal in the matrix and more than a few armored chondrules.  A feast for the eyes for sure.

$4.70/g Shipped in a labelled Membranebox in USA FREE ($5.00 International)
