Astronomers have discovered more than a hundred of extrasolar planets over the last ten years. Where are these planets? What are they? How are they born? As well as the other telescopes, Subaru has an excellent capability for searching for planets, and also studying their birth. I will talk about the techniques and scientific progress for these studies, and what we are doing using Subaru.
