Lomberg discussed his 30 years of creating art illustrating discoveries in astronomy, including his long collaboration with Carl Sagan (COSMOS, CONTACT), NASA (The Voyager Record), and the Gemini Observatory, showing how the worlds of art and science interact. About 60 people braved the Hilo rain to enjoy this presentation profusely illustrated with artwork and animation.
